I did the eggshell daily and told the person straight up that I was only there for a little bit even, and he got very belligerent. If someone is in my spot I just hunker down and click as fast as I can so they'll go away. :D

I said it in another post I'll say it here, This event is like Zombie Event Weekend Its for Griefers. If you're condoning it you're probably a griefer. Whatever goob decided to put all of this event in 8 zones in a 60yd radius should be fired, escorted outside to the angry mob, and thrown to their mercy.
Doubling the radius would not have made any difference to the Lore while making it much more enjoyable for everyone. Or better yet how about the whole zones in those areas, minus the starting areas. THAT would have been fun. Enough room for everyone to hunt without stepping on toes. But, No. Wheres the FUN in people happily enjoying things. NOOooo Ive got to be crapping on everyone around me to be happy.
Im not sure how an absolute griefer got the job as head of event staff but he got it. Way to go, Blizz. I said it in the other thread, I'll say it here... Noblegarden=Epic Fail.

Yes, it is a bit cramped, I have a feeling it wont get any better, maybe they will hotfix the spawn area on patch day, lots of QQing over this

Well... this event is a good opportunity to update the ignore list...
Got this one guy yesterday, who keept yelling "Go away you thief" if anyone got near him. So I and lots of other ppl thought "whats so special about his spot? Lets take a look" :-)

I am disappointed with this revamp. I was hoping they would do something new or interesting. Maybe tie it in with an instance, a giant titanesque Easter Bunny in HoS or HoL somewhere. But no, this holiday is can be summed up in 1 phrase: 'spawn camping'. Thats it, jsut sit and wait and you will succeed.
I'm not QQing, its fine by me I only want the metas for the 310% mount, couldn't care less about achievements or titles. Only one I really like is 'The explorer', but I have to say its a bit disappointing.
Perhaps they have some good ideas they are saving for next year because they know all the world events have turned into a meta achievement race for the mount. Perhaps most people aren't interested in actually having 'fun' with the world events till that goal is achieved.

Perhaps I was just lucky. I only had to farm 120 eggs on my priest and 150 on my druid. I knew all of the spawns in Falconwing and Durotar. I had the most fun watching people pass up eggs or not pay close enough attention as I snatched the eggs in front of them. The only complaining I heard was of this one troll rogue who thought that just because he was standing in one spot for a long time it meant he got whatever eggs came along. I ninja'd about 10 off of him =D.

Play a race/class that can stealth.
Stealth by an egg.
As someone approaches to pick it up, you take it.
Evil? Some might say so.
Stealing? Nope, I was there first.
Fun? Most definitely.
Wish I could see their faces, especially when I destroy the egg.

For all the frustrations I had during this event, at least if someone beat me to an egg in this manner I would have to admire the clever wicked nature of this tactic.
Honestly though, I sort of felt like this title was a giveaway. I had to really work for some of the other ones. Considering there is a violet drake up for grabs, I think all of the achievements should be a bit more difficult.

Question - why do you always feature Matticus' blog on the daily quest? He's got great posts, but he writes for you guys all the time, and SO many people already follow his blog. It seems a bit self serving to have his articles on WoW Insider, AND have his blog featured. Featuring him on the DQ is pretty redundant, in my opinion. I love reading the DQ to find new or obscure blogs - what I don't read it for is to find blog posts that I've already read this morning.
Just a suggestion.
