I ran that dungeon 12 times no suneater.........nor any other tanking drops but I geared about 8 other people for Kara along the way

The same thing happened to the MT in my guild, whereas I as off-tank had it and saw it get sharded twice.

I hear ya on Sun Eater. I ran Mech at least 25 times and no sun eater, but every time I ran it on my shaman, or hunter it would drop. Kind of became a guild joke, if a up and coming tank needed it, have me run them on one of my alts for a guaranteed drop.

oh man, sun eater... I would run h.mech almost every single day for two months. A couple days after I got the weapon from chess... it dropped.

I lucked out on that and got it on my first run (first heroic ever FTW) but then again i've always been lucky with tanking weapon drops, got leeka's shield on the first CoS run, royal crest of lorderon on first heroic CoS run, slayer of the lifeless on first gothik down, broken promise on first heroic 4horse down, passed the last laugh to the paladin on that same raid.

My dps gear, on the otherhand is a pain to get.

That's weird that all of you are having so much trouble with Sun Eater. The first time I ran that instance it dropped, and I passed it to the Main Tank because I'm always a DPS war. The first time I ran H HoL, the 2h axe dropped. I was the only one who needed it.
