For "Daily Chores" your suggestion is "Thrusting Hodir's Spear"? Are you retarded? Why would you suggest a quest that 50% of the people I talk to complain that they can't even complete? I mean look at all the people on this thread complaining about "School of Hard Knocks", your audience is a bunch of whiners who give up easily.Ya it's great for those of us who know how to do it, but I would not recommenced it as the go to quest for this achievement, and if you are going to suggest it, at least suggest an alternative. There are plenty of more comfortable dailies one can do without the threat of multiple corpse runs.

The Argent Tournament quest to beat 3 Valiants is quick and easy, and most people head there anyway to do their jousting at the beginning of their Daily routine. This is the one I'm going to be focusing on and timing carefully.

Yeah, if you're halfway decent at jousting you can kill all three in less than the time it takes to fly to the Hodir area, with no risk and literally within spitting distance of the questgiver.

"Thrusting Hodir's Spear" is not, by any stretch of the imagination, particularly difficult. It also has the added benefit of being a 5-minute time investment at most, is not dependent on a drop rate, and can be done less than 30 yards from the pick-up/drop-off point. It is routinely cited by players as being their favorite among the Hodir dailies and is easy, fast, and fun. If you truly found yourself pressed for time this week, you could do the "Daily Chores" achievement for under 30 minutes' time investment total over 5 days by logging in and out just to do that one quest. The only possible snag I can imagine is whether it will bug out the achievement by being a vehicle quest, but that's a coding issue and not something intrinsically wrong with the ease and speed of the quest itself. If someone has difficulty with it, I also provided other choices (the Kalu'ak and Argent Tournament recommendations) which I do believe count as "alternatives." Other players have also made recommendations in the comment thread. Short of any help on the issue, I imagine any player out there could figure out a random daily they could do with an orphan; my intent is just to suggest the fastest if someone is pressed for time.

Scrubs all over the world, please unite and tell me whats so hard about Thrusting Hodir's Spear? It's really not hard. Keep grip high, using dodge when he swipes at you and immediatly do the big shove attack after a dodge.

The originator of this line of replies is correct, this particular quest, while very easy in theory, can be one of the biggest piece of shit quests to complete. The theory behind the quest, and the process of doing it is an easy one, however, I personally am among the people that find this quest extremely difficult. I know all about keeping the grip high and blah blah.. the problem is, how in the fuck are you supposed to keep your grip high when using that action over and over and over and over and over and over again, still results in your grip stack doing nothing but dropping??????
