Thrusting the Spear is the easiest and quickest? Excuse me, what are you smoking? For those who don't have much time, just go to Quel Danas (portal from Shattrath for those who don't remember) and just do the daily to give the faction 10g.

I've answered this above. I'm not overly enthusiastic about having to direct people to a daily that will cost them money rather than reward it, and I can't assume that most people on their mains at 80 are not yet exalted with the SSO and/or Argent Crusade.Additionally, the SSO money daily basically requires you to burn your hearthstone in addition to requiring you to port from Dalaran to Shatt to the staging area. By the time you get through Dalalag, two loading screens, run over to the questgiver on Quel'danas, and then hearth back, you've saved yourself maybe 1 or 2 minutes off the time you could have spent on a "Wrath" daily that will actually give you some gold for your trouble. Even if you're not exalted with the SSO, I just don't think it's worth it for most people. The only situation in which I'd recommend is if someone was on a toon that was not yet exalted, could log themselves out at the questgiver, and was ONLY logging on each day for this one achievement. That's great if you're in this situation, but the vast majority of players are not.

Ok, I stand corrected as far as the QD daily goes. But what about something like the Wyrmrest Temple daily? It's got gold, is about as close to Dalaran, doesn't require the Sons of Hodir starter chain, and with the sheer number of people working on it, you may well get the 2 minute achievement while you're at it.I also suspect a few more people might have the Wyrmrest starter chain unlocked than the Hodir ones.

Allison, I'm curious how one is supposed to complete the Spear quest with their orphan out. Doesn't getting onboard the dragon to kill it dismiss your pets and vanity pets?

To Miletus:Wyrmrest is fine too. Please note that the recommendations concerning the easiest and fastest dailies are *only* a concern if you don't have the time to log consistently over the 5 days you'll need for this achievement. If you're in that boat and ONLY have 5-10 minutes to spare per day, that's why I'm suggesting the smaller, faster dailies. If you're a regular player going about his/her normal routine of some dailies before your other business, it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference which daily you yank the orphan out for. However, if you're logging a toon off outside the fastest daily you can find because you can't spare time for WoW this week, in my experience the fastest dailies possible have been "Thrusting Hodir's Spear," "The Way To His Heart," and the Tournament dailies. That's all. The daily itself doesn't matter; the only concern here is those players who don't spend a lot of time on WoW during the week.To Zrob:My understanding of the achievement is that you only need to have the orphan out while completing (which is to say, handing in) the quest, so the vehicle portion doesn't affect anything as long as the orphan's out while you turn it in. I have had a friend test "Thrusting Hodir's Spear" tonight and said it worked. With that said, this achievement seems to be fairly buggy right now, and I've had to log off for the evening after handing in 3 other dailies, for which I received credit for none. So we'll see. Players have until Sunday to start this in order to finish before Children's Week ends so it's my hope that this gets fixed soon.
