I shouldn't be forced to go collect eggs for 2 hours in a starting zone when I'd rather be in a BG, this is why achievements are OPTIONAL.

Well, truth is this is not an enforcement. It's not mandatory to get the mount, it's a prize to those who did do it.

Again, I still think the achievement was poorly done, but doing a bit of PVP has been part of most of the meta achievements for the drake. It's not simply a PVE achievement, it's a general wow one, traveling, farming, PVEing and PVPing, all has been included some way or another.

If you look at my other post you'll see though that I agree it seems like a rough one and could have been done differently.
