While some players are polarized over the School of Hard Knocks Achievement, which requires players to venture into the Battlegrounds, I'm not looking forward to a token dungeon run to kill King Ymiron or doing five daily quests for five consecutive days. If you're unable to log in mid-week, you're toast. Ugh. That said, it's an extremely easy meta Achievement to obtain. Are you looking forward to the event? Are you rushing Noblegarden so can't be bothered to chaperone some kids all over Azeroth (like you do every year)? What's the first thing you've got planned for Children's Week?

FFS people, why dont you enjoy it for what it is, or not enjoy it. Do it or dont do it. JUST STFU AND STOP QQING ABOUT HOW TERRIBLE IT IS!! Let me ask you all a question, what would you have done rather than this. Anyway, have you people have all gotten so attuned to blizz feeding all these achievements that you cant handle a small challenge?

Oh cut the crap with your self righteous "You don't want a challenge" bullshit. It's a fucking game. I have life to kick my ass. I'm starting on Ulduar right now and that's challenge enough. I don't need a god damn HOLIDAY breakin my balls.
I also don't need to turn to a video game to enforce my manhood.
Go be proud of something other than your damn video game prowess.
Would I feel an accomplishment? No, no I wouldn't. Because it's a fucking video game. I'm proud of my art, my sense of humor, the business I co-own. Not the fact that I can PVP real good in a game with piss poor tacked-on PVP.
I rolled on a PVE server, why would I want to PVP at all.
If I want to PVP my way to a mount I'd do arena shit.

Just a heads up, they apparently changed the daily one, even though the text hasn't changed. All you need to do is 5 daily quests with your orphan out and you get it.
For the person who mentioned the 2 years to get all the pets, that one isn't a part of the meta so you don't need it for the drake.
As for the pvp, I'm not looking forward to that since I dislike pvp, but what can you do?
