Eh, maybe they could remove the gender requirement - but not the level one. In any case, yeah - if you don't want the ears, right-click them off. Kids will go "hey bunny ears" and that's it. It's certainly not the first thing in the game that's a bit racy - what about Brewfest's Beer Goggles, or any Succubus, or the Hodir dailies, or any of the other thousands of things that will set off easily-offended adults?
