Excellent article, I couldn't agree more. If the point was to breath life back into BGs then why not make the standard a 'win' for each?

I've completed all but AV: I was about to complete the AV requirement when a Pally just behind me bubbled me so I couldn't get the flag. That was all I could take.... That sort of thing is the real effect of this achievement upon BGs: selfish interest over teamwork.

It fascinates me that Blizz is somehow capable of making and maintaining an amazing game like WoW but they still make boneheaded moves like 'School of Hard Knocks'.
