Amen, brother! You have it right on the nose. I don't argue that there should not be PvP achievements, nor do I argue that this particular achievement isn't doable; it is (but it ain't easy, especially for newb PvP-ers). The problem is that it doesn't encourage the teamwork that would/should normally take place in a BG. Sure, there are times when friendly folk get together and help each other get the achievement, in this case, recapping towers over and over, but there's technically a fundamental problem with that too: the point of the BG itself, to cap and hold towers, to capture the flag, etc, degrades. I think if an achievement is introduced to PvP, it should encourage the purpose of that PvP in a ways that propagate to the team as a whole, not necessarily an individual.
