I made it a point to get the battleground achievements bumped out as soon as I could. And I agree with a lot of what this author said. The orphan achievements are less about trying to win a battleground as a team and more about trying to Rambo something out for yourself.

It took me 10 attempts at Alterac Valley before finally capping a tower for myself. The other BG's I got lucky and was able to hit the achievement in the first try (heck...it was the first time I was ever in a winning EoTS in my battlegroup).

Personally, I don't like the PvP achievements. But I understand the perspective in including them. It's different. It requires a bit more thought. And oftentimes, it requires more cooperation than other achievements.

At least this achievement was pretty brief. :)
