My server seems to cooperate very nicely with the horde.

We just took turns capturing towers until everyone had it.

This is exactly what I find wrong about the Achievement. It doesn't encourage teamwork, it actually encourages cooperation with the enemy faction. In a BATTLEGROUND. Imagine that!
