I agree somewhat. I mean, I admit that I went to an AV tower that was assaulted but not capped, waited outisde for an ally to enter, got up to the flag just as he capped it, killed him and recapped it so I could finish the achievement. In this case, we still won, but in another situation it could have cost us the game. So I understand where the author is going, and for the most part agree on the bad design.
On the other hand. This is after all a holiday. Things in the real world are usually different on holidays (some people don't work, special events happen that close down streets for parades or whatever, etc). Is it so bad that things are different in WoW for a couple days on a holiday? When we close streets for a 4th of July parade, we don't expect people to never drive on them again afterward. It is a holiday and everybody knows that, and life will return to normal afterward.
So, while I think Blizz could have done a much better job with the design of this achievement, I think people who QQ it just need to sit back and relax a little. Maybe if you can't take this little thing in stride, you're a little too addicted and emotionally attached to this game for your own good.
