While I think it was wrong to have used the item, I never thought perma-ban was justified. I very highly doubt that they could possibly hack Bliz and send the item to the guild. And even if they did, unless Bliz has a solid proof, I think you have to give them the benefit of the doubt.A short term suspension while investigating the matter, then rolling back the account to right before they got the item would've been a much more appropriate response.
