Breakfast Topic: Did you get what you wanted out of Noblegarden?
Noblegarden has passed for another year and everyone is now running with little orphans in tow. There were lots of changes this year - the biggest being a whole seven days of egg hunting madness rather than just twenty-four hours.
My Noblegarden was spent camping Azure Watch, being chased by purple bunnies and looking for eggs until I went more blind than usual. When I eventually managed to find enough eggs to get me my bunny wabbit (the tuxedo pants, shirt and dress dropped along with the bunch of flowers), I started looking for females in order to do the Shake Your Bunny-Maker achievement.
Now my server isn't one of the largest and I found all the females quite easily -- even a Tauren and a Troll -- but I'll be damned if I could find a single Orc female. There are some on Daggerspine, as many of my guildies had already completed the achievement, but I eventually switched to my Horde account only to experience the mind-numbing chatter from prepubescent players. In the end, I couldn't get the title and now have to wait another year. Hopefully then it won't be as chaotic.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts and experiences post-Noblegarden. Did you achieve everything you wanted?

Graphic the level 27 Noble with all of the Noblegarden achievements, from the first day.
Yep.

I got the noble on a couple characters also. My biggest display of "I have too much time on my hands" came in when I got my level 2 banker the title. I wanted to do it at level 1, but the discovery XP made that impossible. It took some maneuvering from a willing mage and warlock friend, but I got it done. I have the lowest level Noble on the realm. Not that that will ever mean anything in the world, but I was bored.

Darn! foiled again! My lowest level Noble is level 4. Would have been level 3 except I did a couple Noblegarden quests. I originally created my mage just to get the Polymorph book (since I've been meaning to level a mage anyway, figured now was as good a time as any.) but I got so many of the items necessary for the achievements I decided to just go for the title. Got a mage guildy to port me to Dalaran, and a friend with the Tundra Mammoth showed up to help me get from the Un'goro hotsprings to Silithus, and finally Descolace, but other than that I did it all myself. It was a lot of death running, and I got some funny responses from the others in Un'goro when they noticed I was level 3. XD It was absolutely worth it.

Yes. Now give Midsummer and Brewfest and a mount.
I've apparently already done almost all the Midsummer things, although I guess they will change it a bit, and at the very least move Ahune the Frost Lord to something like Ahn'kahet instead of SSC.
Carlos May 12th 2009 6:28AM
Umm SSC? Ahune was in Slave Pens.....
Lesley Smith May 3rd 2009 9:15AM
Uh Brewfest already has a mount ...
Kemikalkadet May 3rd 2009 9:51AM
He means the violet drake, guess he just has brewfest and midsummer left for it.

I got the title on the first day, and in the process realized that spending three straight hours running in circles clicking things was incredibly pathetic.
So I stopped playing for a while.

Lol - ditto. After spending all that time looking for those eggs and getting my achievement points, I really had to think to myself - 'why did I just waste so many hours of my life doing that?!'.
Chasing these achievements, it's sometimes easy to forget that in the end your meant to be having fun playing this game!

i have pathetic for you - i got the achievement on most of my toons (altoholic). i realized i spent almost all of 3 days sitting in front of the screen to do so, so i step outside and walk around the house and all i can see is prime spots to find eggs.

I have my Noble title now, and it's the first holiday event I've completed.
I found the time-lost proto-drake in the 3rd week so suddenly the violet proto mount lost its appeal, even with the enhanced speed.

First holiday completed for me too.

I got my title, farmed about 400-500 eggs, but did not get my tuxedo pants... no achieve for that... did get 6 bunnies, and 2 of all the other items, but no pants... Weird...
Tony May 3rd 2009 7:25PM
obviously blizzard doesnt like the idea of you running around in pants
Anon May 3rd 2009 8:16AM
I guess so, it kept everyone out of my way for a bit so I could grind the fields alone. I didn't care for anything event specific, I didn't touch it.
PeeWee May 3rd 2009 8:16AM
How hard was it on a PVE server to have guildies level an orc/dwarf/troll female to lvl 18 and meet up somewhere? It takes but a few hours, even faster if you make them together and grind your way by means of insane slaughter of the local fauna. Three or four ranged classes, say hunter, and you'd be done with all your guildies getting the bunny shaker done within the day.
You're on a PVP server? I believe you can do the same thing with a trial account, if I remember correclty you can level them to 20. Not entirely sure about that.

I dunno, sounds like much more work than camping the Horde/Alliance entrance areas in Dalaran.
Dalaran General chat went crazy for each female orc slipping through.
TyKell May 3rd 2009 1:52PM
Agreed that's what I did. I'm on Silvermoon EU which means there are about 5 horde on at any given time, or at least that's how it seems.
The few that are on that server were thankfully kind enough to team up and park a female orc, troll and tauren which were all lowbies in dalaran. Guess they took pity on us :D
Anyone else experience the opposite faction help them out with it?
artifex May 3rd 2009 2:31PM
Dalaran banks are great for scoping out chicks (or cows, or...) The hardest part for me was trying to figure out which tauren were female. Probably insulted a few males in the process by giving them ears :) Finally saw one with pink lips and pony tails. Thanks to the Hordie women who enjoyed getting ears and parked themselves looking for the attention.
pscof42 May 3rd 2009 10:28PM
Or get a friend to make a DK and port it to Dalaran maybe?
