Breakfast Topic: How's that whole child thing going?

Mine is safely wrapped up next to me sitting at the inn off the bank in Dalaran.
How's the whole Children's Week thing going for you? I've gotten all the achievements done with the exception of School of Hard Knocks. It seems that no matter what battleground I go in there is always someone willing to not play by the rules the rest of the team agreed to and jump in front of folks to get the achievements, or the battleground resemble what Jon Stewart might call a "cluster of fun to the flag."
I'm hopeful that this is just the behavior of less mature folks unable to follow rule #1, and that these things get better during the day time hours of WoW. Usually I find that the people who are on at eleven in the morning are more mature than the average player, and that means a better experience for myself and everyone.
The other interesting thing I've encountered is Home Alone stacking. Each time they'd use their Hearthstone, they'd get the achievement and the points again. When they logged off however the misbegotten points were gone. There was some talk briefly of having some fun with this and raising their achievement score to something ungodly like 10,000 points – but we figured they'd just be banned for exploitation (unlike some folks).
So how about it WoW Insiders? What's your little pipsqueak up to?

I STILL haven't got those damn PvP achievements! I've done more battlegrounds than I care to mention and I really NEVER want to see another battleground after this ever again. I am really beginning to HATE this game!

Mine are back in their respective orphanages, after a friend pointed out that we were getting credit for every daily we did with an orphan out, not just one per day.
And I was, by the way, able to complete Hard Knocks. I lucked out with some good groups early Sunday morning. Doesn't change how I feel about it--horribly designed and should be nerfed the hell out of the meta.

Have been discovering the side effects of children's week overlapping with Noblegarden.
Innocent little orphan child + a raid group accompanied by a number of bored spring rabbits = sudden embarrassing need to have that Birds and Bees talk.
"Well Dornaa, when a mummy bunny loves a daddy bunny and his four best friends very much..."

A couple of days ago I said I was about ready to quit, pretty much over battlegrounds and the people in them that were *supposed* to be on the same side as me. But I left for a couple days, and when I came back tonight it was like all the jerks had disappeared for the day, or that I was somehow ported to a different battlegroup. I noticed people asking if they could get the first flags/assaults, and people saying go for it, and actually helping out.
Without the jerks, I actually really started enjoying battlegrounds. At one point I realized my little gnome lock was standing on top of a huge pile of bones in front of a Mage Tower, because I'd fended off a ton of attackers with one or two other people jumping in for heals or distraction whenever I was about to die, for about 5 minutes or so. It was _fun_.
Got my 300,000 damage achievement somewhere in there, too.
Got my [patron], the pets I wanted, and a better perspective on not letting a few jerks ruin my play, too.
Still think hard knocks is too hard and doesn't fit the feel of the week, but _it's_over_now_. (And I'm seriously trying to figure out which mount to get with my 30x30x30 badges, when I get 19 more. That would never have occurred to me, before. And I did finally gem all my PvP gear :) )
