I can fully understand that PopCap obfuscates their addons. They did an amazing job by bringing functions and FX to WoW addons that I hadn't deemed possible. And for sure they don't want just anyone to go into the code, check out how it works and use it for their own addons.Probably PopCap told Blizz "Hey, we got some amazing stuff for your WoW but we will only release it if you allow us some obfuscation."If they had just released the addons without getting an agreement from Blizz, the big blue would most probably banned the addons as soon as they became aware of the obfuscation...
