Huh. The only reason I could think of as to why only a battlegroup would go down is because somebody unplugged/spilled coffee on/peed on the Shadowburn servers, in which case, why would it take two hours? Or are there other reasons why it would be battlegroup-specific?

In most cases, the battlegroups are a joint subset of the servers that reside together*. So any problem on that specific block of servers will trouble all that battlegroup. This explains why it is limited to one battlegroup.It sounds like that was your second question, but I'm not certain. As for your theory, yeah, someone probably spilled their coffee :).* - I say in most cases because while that used to be the case 100% of the time, I'm not sure if it is still 100% now.
