Being an altaholic, this would be bad news for me and many alike. Sometimes I just like to log onto a lowbie alt and quest without all the spam and drama going on in my main's guild chat.In WotLK, they've put Heirloom items which makes leveling much faster. Plus having dual specs to do lowbie instances make PUGing fun again!

Heirloom items are exactly how Blizzard has tried to make leveling faster for people who have already hit 80. And they just made it better by adding the xp increase to quest xp in addition to the kill xp. I have to say that the xp bonus is nice but I wish they'd increase it just a little more or maybe lessen the xp nerf you get from being in a group. I like the idea that the heirloom items help you level alts but that they aren't freebies. They require you to earn and purchase them so that they aren't just handed out to everyone.I think that early leveling is necessary to truly understand your class and determine what you like/don't like about them and which spec best suits your personal play style. Sure you can play a class and play it well without going through all that BUT I believe that anyone who spends more time slowly getting to know their class and abilities will ultimately be a better player for it. And isn't that what we all want? Players to be their best instead of fail? I know I do anyway.
