Why don't they just put in a henchman system like most single-player RPGs have? Maybe for all non-heroic dungeons, you can go to Stormwind (or whatever your capital is) & plunk down a fair amount of coin for a henchman that is only for a dungeon of your choice. Maybe they'll be labeled "Deadmines Healer." You go to Deadmines & when you get in the dungeon, your henchman shows up with some line like, "I thought you'd never get here." Now you have a computer-controlled player for 50s that's good for one run of the dungeon. Loot will be divided as if that person was a character & will roll against you on appropriate items.Basically, the 50s (or whatever is deemed a fair price) would be a convienience fee for not having to find four other players. At that rate, you'd plop 2.5g for four computer controlled players that would take you through Deadmines.I know they have the technology. A lot of fights have NPC combat mechanics & we all know how well mind-controlled players are.
