While I agree, that it is a pain to level from 1-58. I think that the old world, is a vital training ground for people. People creating alts, getting a pass on this would just have to make up this time learning the class at a much higher level.Shaman, for example, are eased into the totem system at level four and do not get their final element totem till level 30. If a new shaman was created at level 55, without the background knowledge of the class, or some serious reading up. A person would be easily overwhelmed by all the options. I feel this is true for most classes. Death Knights were designed with this in mind. The only ways past this I see are either to greatly simplify classes, or each class gets a Death Knight like starting area. Which that, and their advanced starting level are what makes them a Hero Class to begin with.I do think they could stand to speed up the leveling process some more, but skipping it all together seems like a bad idea. Level 55 shouldn't become the new level 1 for high level players.
