Dont do it. DAOC did it and it killed the new player experience. New players entered a dead lowbie world with noone to group with and had to primarily solo unless you got in a guild.

@Chump: But that's what's happening now, anyway. I started WoW a few months ago just to see what it was like, and basically found myself completely alone until I rolled on a different server directly into a guild. The first 3 characters I made had to solo everything and now they're gathering dust at level 25. And even with my guilds, I'm still soloing 90% of the content, and I hate every minute that I have to listen to all the 80s yukking it up on guild chat going on about end content, meanwhile I'm stuck in fucking Ashenvale curing that comatose girl AGAIN, Stranglethorn Vale AGAIN, pugs letting me die AGAIN, walking 1.2 miles an hour from top to bottom of The Barrens AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN. I'm letting my subscription run out next week. I can't take it anymore.
