"new players would miss a part of the game that i think is really important.. plus the process of leveling helps new players figure out how to play their character and learn their class roles."Not entirely true. I had 3 alts right after I had my main farming 25 man Naxx. Every zone I was in was completely empty. I don't think I saw a soul until I reached outland. The biggest part I would have missed out on was playin by myself in an MMO thus making this a sad single player game where I can't group with anyone. So starting a character at level 55+ helps get more players together. Leveling did not help me learn ANY of my new characters skills. I did help me to put out the most damage with the least effort. In a sense making me a lazy player. Once I saw the skill and understood how to use it fighting mobs the better I got. So actually I would do much better being thrown and forced to learn my new skills in an instances/pvp than forced to grind on old content with zones void of anyone for 6 weeks.
