All I have to say to Vehx is pick a spec and stick with it, stop being everyone's lil B*&^#$ and respecing for them! "Oh, we need a healer - I will respec, Oh we need a tank - I will respec, Oh we need you to be DPS - I will respec. Paladins just need to settle on one or two specs and just be done with it. I feel comfortable saying that b/c I have a ret pally in mid outlands, and so many times I see "well if the stupid ret just went holy we would have a healer!" and I prompty reply the "stupid ret" will go holy, but for 100g. I dont enjoy healing on my pally: if I wanted to heal, I would go play my priest. Dual specs is perfect for that reason: at lvl 80 I plan to go ret, but I will make a healing set for when I absolutely need to heal. If they need a tank, they can get my warrior, or some other tank: end of story. You shouldnt be forced into doing something you dont want to do in this game, and I see alot of paladins that feel like they are forced into picking up offspec gear as they go (or in some cases 2 off sets of gear) and then expected to play that spec well.
