Honestly, Wrath in general has been a weird mix of "Holy hell, this is -awesome-" and a sense that Blizzard is just getting bored with the game. When I first landed in Borean Tundra and heard the music, saw the scenery, did the quests in Coldarra, etc, it really felt like something, and the general quests throughout the island felt like that as well. Then come the little things, though. Things like the horribly uninspired armor and weapon designs and colors, things like the lifelessness of 3.1, and you begin to think they just don't care as much as they used to. I dunno. I hope the next content patches are better, but you're right. 2.4 was amazing compared to this.

Agreed.I had to ride the zep through to Howling Fjord the other day, and I got nostalgic about that zone - the music, the atmosphere, the Viking culture, memories of the awesome pirate questline - just amazing and awesome and incredible. But in contrast, 3.1 does seem like they had to hit a deadline and didn’t have time for the little things that add life and make it great.
