Very well thought out and supported argument. I also happen to agree that patch 2.4 was the peak of WoW.

One thing I don't really like about the Tournament is that it's progression has nothing to do with how many dailies the server has completed. If I never log in and do any of the dailies, that thing will get built at the exact same time it would have anyway. With Sunwell, I had the sense that I was contributing to the effort because you could SEE the progress your server was making. It was a nice little server-bonding experience as you raced against the other servers to unlock more of the island.
