This seems like a strange deal, but in fact it's business as usual -- Blizzard says they won't tell you what's in the BlizzCon bags this year until all of the tickets are sold out. Seems weird, right? Wouldn't knowing what you'll get with the bag encourage you to buy tickets? But apparently not -- they've always announced the goodies post ticket sales and pre-event, so we'll just have to wait and see what comes up this year.That won't stop us from guessing what's in it it. Our guess: a lot of stuff. Last year's bag was huge, as you can see in the gallery below, and this year's will probably be even bigger. There will definitely be some silly items, like the QQ noob tissues and the Diablo III mints from last year. There'll be promotional stuff for sure, maybe a pack of TCG cards, a few licensing partner ads, and/or a sample mini (last year they gave out Voidwalkers). And of course there'll be an ingame item card, maybe a sweet mount or a vehicle. Personally, I'd love to see a special edition novel, either a reprint of something like War of the Ancients or even a special collection of short stories just for the event.
Whatever's in the bag, you can rest assured that we'll be one of the first few folks sifting through the goodies again. And it's not outside the realm of possibility that, yet again, you'll have a chance to win one. Stay tuned.

As I recall, we only found about Murky the night before the convention or so. He's still the best of the rewards.
Honestly, I'm kind of stumped at what they could give us, since we've gotten a murloc pet (although there are still more colors of murloc baby you can check out in WoWModelViewer), a murloc suit and a bear mount with a murloc rider. I'd certainly be up for a proto-dragon mount with a murloc rider, but I think they'll likely go more low key than that.
I would love to see them put an in-game Blizzcon t-shirt in as a goody bag item every year. A Blizzcon banner (like the Argent Dawn one from the undead invasion or the racial ones from the Argent Tournament) would also be fitting, given how they promoted the Blizzcon flag with previous in-game goodies.
As for how big the bag is: Not too big. A lot of the goodies are actually flat (even the inflatable stuff from last year was, well, uninflated when we got it) and are mixed in with various advertising promotional materials.

It makes sense that they'd want to cut down on people buying tickets just for the in-game item. Tickets should go to the people who want to go. I wish I could, but I'm going back to school this fall and can't afford to spend the money. Sad.
That news about the internet stream coming with the in game item is pretty sweet though - I'm going to have to think about that.

yeah, i know someones gunna tell me im wrong, and im sure i am but, blizzcon isnt 100% about WoW so who knows, maybe there will be something about the new universe there creating :o

So I was having money issues and I asked my parents If they would loan me some cash for a plane ticket to blizzcon.
I full exepcted them to say no (lol were gonna give you money to go to a game conference?). But they said yes! All I have to do is visit my grandmother when i'm in LA.
IM GOING TO BLIZZCON WOOOO! I feel like i'm a little kid. So giddy.
Only problem now is making sure i'm all set up for ticket sales... and that i save cash until next week. I only have 145 bucks to my name at the moment... Looks like i'll have to stop drinkig, smoking, or eating.
We'll eatings out the window. Lol.

Will they mail you the loot if you don't show up? Or do you have to be there?
I want some of the loot like last year's, but I don't have the time or money to make the actual trip. Yes, I could just buy the streaming package, but then I would only get the in game thing. I want the silly stuff like bottle openers and inflatable junk, too.
