Using fireball as your main spell in PVP is epic fail. Use scorch, it is harder to counterspell/interupt and increases your chance of procing instant pyroblasts and impact. It also allows you to cast without a trail pointing straight back to your position. I can't tell you the number of times I have killed someone without them knowing where i was until it was too late. A properly played fire mage is a force to reckoned with, especially in WSG, my mage is one of the greatest flag runners in history. Mana Shield, Blink, Blazing Speed, and Frost Nova are an unbeatable combo. I have been able to get over half way across the map before the defenders can even get out of the tunnel. People are just amazed to see me 3 cap a WSG in record time.
