Around Azeroth: A thorny proposition
As Kafalli of <Guitarred and Feathered> on Frostwolf looked on in horror, a thick hedge of brambles covered in strange druidic symbols grew over the city. The evil warlock's corruption of his graphics card had succeeded, and his beloved was trapped inside the castle, deep inside an enchanted lag storm. Kafalli knew he would have to use all of his abilities on the long, perilous journey to rescue her. Or, he considered, he could just get a new video card. And a new beloved. That would probably be a lot more efficient.
Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We'd love to see them on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing aroundazeroth@wow.com with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next!
Remember to include your player name, server and/or guild if you want it mentioned. Please include the word "Azeroth" in your post so it does not get swept into the spam bin. We strongly prefer full screen shots without the UI showing -- use alt-Z to remove it. Please, no more battleground scoreboards, double-mounts, or pictures of the Ninja Turtles in Dalaran.

Wow, at this rate, it seems that the next expansion is going to be Wrath of the Graphics Card. Either that, or the next expansion is going to involve some kind of Dali style bizzaro world.

it's a well known texture glitch where ingame textures are inappropriately applied to to wrong objects. This is most common on older GFX cards.
that's your explanation.

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought.
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
