I suppose the thing is that you have healin pallies, tanking pallies and killing pallies (bandaid, tincan and butter knife specs) and so there are really three classes in there, but I wonder if it was so smart of Blizz to make a class (or two classes with Druids) that can do everything that the game needs doing.
Take the player not the class? Hmm....

I think the rogue number is the most troubling. Why did a class that used to be incredibly popular become one of the least played? My guess is that the introduction of the DK and improvements to warrior DPS caused a lot of rogues to wonder why they should play a squishy melee class if they do the same damage as a plate-wearing one.
