@ Zayd - weird, we have at least four rogues with us in Ulduar all the time, one of whom regularly tops the DPS. Therefore, I'd say that people just aren't doing everything they can to know their class and make them everything they can.
@ sephirah - wow, misunderstand much? In order to even play a death knight, you MUST have another character at least level 55. If you'd paid attention, you might not have come off that way.
Ok, so on to my own comments. Myself, I have played nearly every class to 70 (except Warrior, Rogue and Shaman) and currently have two 80s (Mage and Death Knight). The popularity of the death knights has waned somewhat since the beginning of WotLK but at least on my server, they're still going pretty strong. However, at the same time, my guild really only has two people who regularly bring a DK to raids, one of those being me. We're very slowly starting to get more prospects in the class but it will be a long time until they're on the level of the others. As I said above, the most populous class in our raids is regularly rogues. Right behind them are shaman oddly, but we mostly have resto shammies and one elemental.
So yeah, I don't know is the stats are terribly accurate if they're not looking at trends since the opening of WotLK, but hey, whatever.
