Our weekly podcast is broadcasting a special midweek edition this evening -- tonight at 6pm Eastern (so you've got time to listen in before the big Lost finale), we'll be over on the Ustream page doing what we always do: talking about the most popular post of the week. Our good friends and colleagues Amanda Dean and Lesley Smith will be on the show, and Turpster will probably make an appearance as well (given that we can convince him to stay up late enough). We'll be chatting about the latest PTR patch notes, the big changes coming to Wintergrasp, and what Blizzard legal has been up to lately (with both iPhone apps and webcomics). Plus, we'll answer your emails -- you can send us questions, comments, or insights at theshow@wow.com.
Should be fun. Head on over to our Ustream page at May 13, 2009 6:00 PM EDT to listen in live, or just step behind the break on this post to find an embedded feed. And if you can't make it tonight, don't worry, we'll be back at our normal time on Saturday, May 23rd at 3:30pm Eastern in the afternoon for our long-awaited video show. Now that will be a great time.
No idea why you guys just don't do your pod cast on Tuesday when the servers are down? You'd have a captive audience, and if you were to do it around noon'ish EST you'd have the people during lunch. It would also be fresh in peoples minds when they log onto the servers retaining those juicy morsels information that you've passed along.
hmmm Saturday afternoon..free time..play wow or listen to a pod cast...decisions decisions....
We'd have conflicts no matter what time we did it, and I'm sure that most people wouldn't be able to listen in live at work anyway. We settled on Saturday, that's our usual time, and we'll try to mix it up like this when we can.
And it is a podcast, yes, so you can download and listen to it any time you like. :)
Is there an MP3 available for those of us who couldn't tune in? It's "Off Air" on UStream, so I don't see any way to get it. (I'd rather download it anyway, so I can listen in the car)
Looks to be the case with all of the other mid-week editions.

I am usually not around on a Saturday afternoon/evening, so I have been looking forward to another weekday show.
Hmm, I will try to make some of it, but game 7 of the Penguins/Capitals game is at seven. We shall see . . .

Why not do both?
I usually listen to WoW podcasts while farming or doing dailies.

I would like to thank whomever thought it would be a good idea to automatically change the time from PDT to my own time zone.
It is a good idea. Thanks. :)
