I don't Arena and almost never do PvP, but it sounds like screwing people over, especially engineers.
It seems like how they screwed over blacksmiths and people who had bought weapon chains back in Vanilla when it would make you immune to disarm.
Seems to me that removing stealth detection goes too far in one direction, not keeping things balanced

Wow...you really don't pvp do you? It's not like rogues are freakin' ghostly aberrations that can only be seen with special goggles! You still have your natural stealth detection (which, as a rogue I can vouch for this, is surprisingly good).
This change is not unbalancing the game, the amount of stealth detection granted by the goggles was OP, so it's actually balancing it.
