The link to the World of Ming article is a bit of a trap.
The article is "Is there a reason to raid anymore to get gear for arena", not "Is there a reason to raid anymore"
Please update this so we don't get a comments section full of QQ Raiding is pointless, or Raiding is SrsBznz posts.

Wow, that article about Obvious Things You Shouldn't Do While Applying to a New Guild is kinda poor advice.
Like...
It's a guide on how to fool their guild into accepting your application. You could be all the things they described, but blah, follow these simple rules and you'll soon be looting the guild bank and rolling need to vendor!
And what exactly is a guild like? Is it a college or is it a sports team? I'm confused because I'm trying to put together a raiding outfit and I'm not sure which way I should wear my cap.
