How to configure Grid
I've been using Grid for years, ever since Molten Core (in fact, one of my first posts on WoW Insider was about Grid), and I still learned things from this article. The way Grid composites information onto its little squares is not intuitively obvious, so it's probably worth taking a look just for that. There is also a video on how to configure the mod, which might give you a hint just how complex it can get. The post ends with a list of some useful plug-ins for Grid; I fully agree with the author that GridStatusThreat, which shows which raid members have aggro, is a must-have (although I can't find a working link to it at the moment – is it included with Grid these days?).

Any one know how to show raid marks in Grid? That's the only thing missing I can't find from any Grid plugins.

I just logged in to see if anyone has any tips on customising Grid any better than mine. But, whats with the HealBot hate fest. If the healer sucks, its 'cause the tank cann't keep aggro, is too squishy for the boss, the DPS is lame, or maybe the healer just sucks and no add-on will change that. Personally, I use both Healbot and Grid, and at the same time. Sounds stupid, but when the going is easy and I want to be lazy, Heal Bot is Great! I align Grid next to Healbot to give me more in depth info at a glance and allow me to "custom" heal or de-buff when needed. Plus I get all the other raid info that only Grid gives. HealBot does drive me crazy at times because not every group needs the stuff it comes with "right out of the box" I wouldn't be without either, and I wouldn't be without Grid when the going get tough.
