WoW Insider's BlizzCon coverage this Saturday

WoW Insider will be up and running from 8am EDT onwards tomorrow, bringing you everything as it happens. This includes posting and twittering the moment the ticket sales go up.
For additional BlizzCon information, check out our recently released Guide to BlizzCon 2009. All the latest information will be kept there, and of course, right here on the main site when the news breaks.
And if there are any ticketing problems... well, we'll be covering that too. Here's hoping for the best.

Blizzard just posted on the official WoW site:
"After our gnomish engineers here in Southern California get to work and finish making the final preparations late Saturday morning, they’ll activate the ticket-purchase process and BlizzCon tickets will officially go on sale."
So, I guess that's a bit more of a confirmation of timing?

Wait, so does Blizzcon start Saturday too, or just orders for tickets before BlizzCon later on this year? The title of this post says BlizzCon coverage, so I keep thinking that means BlizzCon starts Saturday too.

No, this is just for the ticket sales. The actual BlizzCon event is August 21-22.

Well, as the only event occurring in relation to Blizzcon is ticket sales, the title is still accurate.

Why go to Blizzcon and pay $125? here let me save you some time and money.
Your going to see...
1. Some chunky women/girls dressed up in their favorite characters outfits.
2. More chunky men/boys dressed up in their favorite characters outfits.
3. More D3 and starcraft 2 demos and coverage
4. Very little WoW news
5. Perhaps announcement of next gen MMO
The only game you can play out of all of those....WoW

I went as a bear druid.
And they had a couple of bars!

UPDATE! per the blizzcon page, tickets go on sale . . .
UPDATE: Tickets are scheduled to go on sale specifically at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, Saturday, May 16
