the motion is carried: Blizz needs to get off thier butts and hold an event in New York. Common, Mr. Morhime, you saw the people lined up around the block in November in the middle of a school semester. Here's my idea:Blizz has a half-sized BLizzcon at the Jacob Javitz center in New York, and in the goodie bag is a code for a random prize - the prize being any one of the major things that has been given before! Murky, Blizzcon Bear, Tyrell's Hilt, or the new Starcraft Merky from this year's Blizzcon.

As someone from the MidWest, I am opposed to the idea of an East coast Con (even if I am closer to the East Coast than CA). They're a gaming company, not a Con company.That said? Hows about some fans start running Cons? That's how the whole convention thing got started in the first place anyhow.
