I've been reading the comments from some of our recent posts and realized that there is quite a bit of mismatch between players and guilds. There are casual players in hardcore guilds that find themselves being passed over in content. There are hardcore players in casual guilds that don't get to move on to things they want. Some players need a higher level of maturity.There are usually a handful of guilds recruiting in the Guildwatch column, but I think, for today, we can do better. Accomplishments: Naxx-25 on farm, Ulduar-25 in progress
Goals: to maintain steady progress in 25-man raids. We have no conceit of being one of the "best" guilds on the server, we just want to move through content at our own pace.
Who we are: A mixed casual/raiding guild with endgame expectations.
What we're looking for: Dedicated raiders of any class and spec. Obviously, like everyone else, we're always in need of good tanks and healers. We've had a lot of roster turnover lately, so our 25-man raids have been moving only in fits and starts. We're looking for people who know their stuff and are willing to put some effort into growing and progressing the guild.

Accomplishments: Naxx 25, Os 25, EoE 25, and Ulduar 25 (FL, Razor, Decon, Council, and Kolo down).
Goals: To clear all current 25 man raid content and progress through any upcoming new content whole maintaining a fun yet focused and efficient atmosphere.
Who we are: We are a crew of players that have been gaming together for a couple of years now. We like to get together and down bosses. We find the challenge of getting 25 people to work together in figuring out which strats will work for us more fun than just getting the gear.
What we're looking for: We are looking for healers of the Priest, Druid, and Shaman variety that can attend atleast 75% of our scheduled 25 man raids. We could also use a geared, skilled, and knowledgeable full time Mage.

Accomplishments: Cleared all 10 man content except Ulduar and 2/3 drakes. 25 content is patchy, but have done Naxx and Malygos.

Who we are: We're one of the longest lasting and stable guilds on a very new European server. We're extremely social, and much more picky about the PERSON we recruit rather than how talented they are. We never force anyone to raid. We are essentially a group of friends that socialise through WoW.
What we're looking for: More people for Ulduar. Cornerstones of the community. If you're a very good player but never talk, we do NOT want you.

Who we are: We are a serious guild.. we're not casual, but not
overly hardcore either. Accomplishments: We have killed seven bosses in Ulduar 10 and one in Ulduar 25. We have cleared all pre 3.1 content save Sarth 3D.
Goals: We wish to build our numbers up with solid, reliable raiders and make more forays into Ulduar 25. In time, we want to be working on Hard Modes.
Who we are: We're a mixed guild, fairly laid back, but still put a priority on clearing content. our members are mostly older, a few college students, but many in their 30s and older, with jobs and real lives and families. We won't whine if you need to go change a diaper or miss a raid to spend time with your wife. We understand that RL comes first. We have several couples in the guild who play (and raid) together.
What we're looking for: We have a strong need for more healers and ranged DPS. We're a melee heavy guild, and a few boomkins, warlocks and shadow priests would make a welcome addition to our raids. Mostly, we just need people who can make our raid schedule and are willing to suffer through the pains and repair bills of learning new fights.

Goals: To conquer the raids in our casual(in terms of days raided/week) pace, and having fun on the way.
Who we are: Casual guild(no actual pressure to attend), but mature & serious enough on raids that we usually accomplish what we go for in a raid. Been together since 2007 on the server.
What we're looking for: Easygoing, semi-hardcore raiders who are willing to do their absolute best 120% for a raid for our two "progression" raids a week, and keeping positive attitude through it all. Healers and dps for the most part, but we do have an open spot for a dedicated Grizzly Tank.

Goals: To progress in raid content with a group of people who enjoy raiding together and are able to have a good time while also clearing new and challenging content.
Who we are: We're a small guild of mostly working adults or college students who are making our way through 10 man raid content. We hang out on vent all the time and enjoy talking and joking around with each other. We're serious about our raid progression, while still maintaining a fun and laid back atmosphere. Vent is lively and active during raids - no silent vent policies here. At the moment, we are mainly doing 10 man content but will move to 25 man content once we have a solid roster of players to fill up a 25 man team.
What we're looking for: Reliable and mature (18+ generally) players who are serious about progressing while still being laid back and able to joke around and have fun. Healers and caster DPS are especially wanted, but we'll consider any class if the player is a good fit. A feral Druid or Paladin tank would be a welcome addition as well. Drama/loot whores need not apply. Sense of humor and ability to take a joke are a must!

Interesting Concept, and now that my guild is off hiatus here goes:

Accomplishments: Currently running all Tier 7 10 man content, due to our casual approach we have gotten 11/15 bosses down in Naxx 10.
Goals: To get enough people that can commit to getting Naxx 10 on farm, and then also having enough to start a friendly Naxx 25 man group, and a Ulduar 10/25 group.
Who we are: We are a casual yet mature environment that tries not to take the game to seriously, we are mostly adults with a variety of day jobs that like to get together and accomplish similar goals, whether it be farming heroics, 10 man's, Premade's etc.

Who we are: Grandeur (Grandeur Guild) was formed on release day back in 2004. Originally from Proudmoore, we transferred as a guild from Muradin (a transfer server) to Kilrogg in order to find a more competitive environment to spur our progression. Our focus is 25 man raiding including all possible achievements. We consider successfully completing achievements as simply another form of progression. The challenges of raiding are what we play the game for, and it is our hope that you share our enthusiasm as Uludar and Icecrown approach.
We seek to temper our serious attitude towards raiding with a measure of fun. We do not wish to fool anyone into thinking that we are a pressure filled guild that’s aiming to reach the top tiers of worldwide progression, but we take our raiding seriously. If we reach such a plateau, all of us will be understandably thrilled. But it is not the end all and be all of our gaming philosophy.
Grandeur is comprised primarily of working professionals. We have a few casual retired members who fill in on raids when required, but full members trump them for spots except in cases of raid balance or the like. Our guild chat tends to be adult oriented, but rarely runs into the truly NC-17. One thing that must be emphasized is we have no tolerance for drama. What we're looking for: Motivated, intelligent players willing to follow and lead when asked. Class-wise we can take everything except a prot warrior or a priest of any spec. Could really use rogues, resto druids, shamans, moonkins.
