It amazes me how people are incapable of taking a tool and applying common sense to it's analysis. Of course a disc priest won't be as high on the meters, and anyone that knows how a _shield_ works would realize that.

qq more. Why don't you try healing instead of shielding? Still can't top the meter? Then you suck!

/facepalmHealers aren't meant to compete to top meters. They're meant to keep people from dying. Meters are just a helpful tool to help them analyze how they can do better. Learn how the game works.Btw, I'm holy, not disc - I just realize how the other aspects of the game work. Also, I wasn't QQing really, just making an observation about stupidity.

You'll never win the meters with that kind of attitude.

Either you're being sarcastic, or you really don't get the point. You are correct. As a Holy/Disc priest, I will never win the meters. Then again, my game isn't to win the meters. My game is to keep people alive. Sorta like DPS'ers who win the meter game get the great prize of pulling aggro and getting stomped. And winning that game repeatedly earns them the bonus prize of NOT being healed or rezzed by me.

Manatank is an elitist troll that doesn't need any further feeding. If he wants attention he can spam Trade as I'm sure he's the type to do that.Allison, you and Grendalsh are clearly right. In my opinion, as a DPSer (and a healer offspec), the meters don't mean a whole lot if you're just playing well. For healers that means keeping people alive through heal bombs or mitigation and for DPSers that means doing consistent damage (that's keeping up with the rest of your group, obviously), while not doing anything stupid and dying. Unfortunately they haven't made any "player skill" meters yet, as I think that'd be infinitely more useful than a dps or hps meter . And Disc priests kick ass.

Manatank is trolling. Being a tankadin he damn well knows how important a disc priest is.My wife is disc. She got told by our holy paladin that she wasn't ready for ulduar. We explained how they work and he said okay, sure."2 weeks later his warrior tanked a heroic with her and he was so rage starved he was bitching. I asked how often this happened in heroics with holy priests + paladins, shaman, and trees. "Never" Look at your DTPS. "WTF?!?!?!" Yea, remember how you said sure, now do you get it for real? "HOLY CRAP!"Sometimes it merely takes someone seeing it first hand to grasp the concept. Sometimes it takes things like my wife going Holy one night and pumping out higher numbers than our usualy holy priest to make them understand that she's putting out that much as Disc, you just don't see it.Heck, one fight we saw so many soap bubbles on the DPS from her prayer of healing crits that people thought it was a boss ability. No one was taking damage though...
