Murkimus mailed out today

Those who participated in this year's official arena tournament have been not-so-patiently awaiting their reward for playing 200 arena matches in the preliminary rounds on the tournament realm. It's been quite awhile since players expected to get their hands on Murkimus, but Blizzard representatives have been giving a mid-May estimate that proved true today.Players who played their 200 matches should be logging into Murkimus in their mailbox today. You can stop panicking that Blizzard cheated you out of a pet. You can stop worrying that you missed some important detail. Enjoy your murloc, folks.

It is technically UNpossible for your 101st pet to be anything other than the little fawn (unless you grinded all the way up there and then DIDN'T choose to learn the fawn). And yeah, unpossible isn't even a word, that's how strange I think your post is.

It seems you get it on all of your previously created characters. You do not get it on any of your newly created characters. It's Bind on Pickup, not Bind on Account. Such a pity.

Its not from the in game arena. Its from the 2009 arena tournament that you had to pay $20 to do.
