you know what is funny is JC complaining about a non existant epic gems. That is not a reasonable excuse of why your profession can be OP in the mean time.

your gems as currently available benefit is equal to those provided by the other profession the fact that they were prismatic gave them high value in that socket bonuses and meta gem activation didn't need less optimal gems.

it is nerf but not the profession destroying sense that you seem to be claiming
