I personally think if they make a change to JC, it should be restricting who can use what gems. For instance, a level 60 character should not be using Runed Scarlet Rubies...that should be restricted to people level 75+, though anyone 60+ could use a Runed Blood Garnet.As for the Dragon Eye gems.. I think how you cut it should influence what slot it goes into, not make it a non-colored gem. Such as if you are making a Spell Power cut, it would be considered Red, Haste cuts would be Yellow and Spirit cuts would be Blue, etc. This would remove the prismatic quality while still not totally negating the opportunity to fit a proper color gem into a slot.This would give those who are trying to find a market for their gem cuts instead of wasting time cutting gems to vendor them.But, I feel this should apply for other professions too like Enchanting. I remember having to enchant my own gear over and over just to level since there was no market for any of the non-maxed enchants.
