I didn't originally think this would be a bad idea, I have to admit JCs were pretty overpowered since I am one. When I logged back in today and noticed that my metas were no longer active I thought it would be as simple as going and buying some new gems with my emblems of heroism and resocketting to activate my metas and socket bonuses. Little did I know that none of the vendors that used to sell rare quality (blue) gems before would be selling them anymore. Go figure, you can only buy the epic quality gems now, but too bad if you don't have enough daily JC tokens to buy the recipes because you are basically useless now as a JC. Rare quality gem prices have shot through the roof on my realm because of the newly limited supply, and epic gems are going for nearly 400g each. The daily quests are easy but quite annoying having to fly out to BFE for a monotonous quest and pay extra money for green gems to complete those quests every single day is a lot more hassle than it's worth. I leveled Tailoring on another toon and never had to go through all of this crap. To get enough JC tokens to buy all of the recipes, you need to spend weeks upon weeks doing dailies, and no other professions are like that. Jewelcrafting seems hardly worth the trouble of all of these endless dailies and other annoyances for such a small payoff.
