Zeppelin on its way to Thunderbluff?

That's right, when a player suggests that maybe a zeppelin should be flying around the Tauren city of Thunderbluff, Kisirani says only, "Okay." So, a zeppelin is coming to Thunderbluff? Certainly seems that way.
Makes a lot of sense -- Tauren originally had Plainsrunning, and if you've ever made that jaunt through their starting area, you'll know just how many plains you have to run across (of course, they didn't actually get it until level 40, so it wouldn't have helped them much there anyway, but still -- it's a run). And while you can pretty quickly fly into TB from Orgrimmar, it wouldn't hurt to have another point of departure. Kisirani doesn't say where the zepp will go, but maybe a flght up to Northrend wouldn't be out of the question either.
Wow, we got all that from "Okay." Behold the power of Kisirani! Maybe it doesn't mean there's a zepp on the way, but if that's the case we'd be happy with just a cow-tapult.

I think it's a wonderful thing. :)

OT - It seems the new wow.com is trying to post better images for every new post (compared to the old wowinsider.com)... good thing.

/agree! Not sure if it's cause of the darker background, but these pictures are looking mroe brighter/vivid and more detailed

IMO with the black-bordered pale-background'ed text area, the pictures need a 1px solid black border to really pop. You'd be amazed what a 1px solid black border can do for the eye in terms of contrast ratio.

Maybe its the fact that the photos are 3 times bigger ;)
The old site format only allowed for little pictures.

Back in my day WoW Insider only posted fuzzy black-and-white scans of Polaroids.

Part of what I enjoyed about Thunderbluff was the isolation. A zeppelin just sort of changes that a bit. No big deal, but I'd be slightly disappointed.

Agreed, that's why my bank alt/auctioneer/guild leader character is located there.

It should connect to Silvermoon also...
Endario May 22nd 2009 11:15AM
Why not to Dalaran, Shattrath, and Exodar while they're at it x.x
Taladan May 22nd 2009 11:18AM
It will connect Thunder Bluff with Grom'gol ;)
Elmo May 22nd 2009 11:59AM
Imo the connection to Silvermoon is already fine, just hop on the Zep to UC, use the Orb of Translocation and you'll be in Silvermoon faster than you'll be in the Undercity.
Well I think this is a good change, the Alliance already got pretty good connections, Exodar+Darnassus--Boat> Auberdine--Boat> Stormwind--Tram> Ironforge
TB was the only city left on 'an island'

I think this is really awesome now people won't be asking for ports constantly to TB.
Nerri May 22nd 2009 11:12AM
It's about time. :)
Although, myself being a mage, nothing will change for me - apart from being able to easily access the city on my alts.

If you mages would get together in between making biscuits, maybe you could set up portals in each of the capital cities that connect to the other 3.
I understand Shat and Dalaran being one way, but would it be such a big deal if you could hop from faction cap to faction cap?

@Rober M
Well, the issue here is that the portals in both Dalaran and Shattrath require a lot of power to be maintained (lore-wise). And each of these cities have the power to do so - in Dalaran it is the powerful mage order and in Shattrath it's the power of the Naaru.
None of the Horde cities possess such power (aside perhaps Silvermoon), hence your suggestion would be convenient, but not very in accordance with the lore.

Perhaps the new zeppelin point could take players to one of the Taunka towns in Northrend, such as Taunka'Le village or even to Agmar's Hammer to give a good central zeppelin point in Dragonblight.
