Wasn't Bolvar's body incinerated by the Red Dragonflight?

Technically the flames of the Red Dragonflight bring life, hence why it is the ultimate weapon against the undead, and why there are flowers around the Wrathgate.

If the Scourge didn't manage to pick him up before, yes.

Actually, wasn't he killed by the Forsaken? The ones who fired their plague catapults into the crowd of undead and alliance/horde fighting during the Wrath Gate cinematic.I think the Red Dragonflight incinerated the area after. I don't think Bolvar's soul was absorbed by Arthas.

There was a bug at some point which allowed players to read Draconic, and thus what Alexstrasza said at the Wrathgate."Alexstrasza: [Draconic] They must not discover the fate of the young paladin. Not yet. "http://www.wowwiki.com/Bolvar_Fordragon

Yes it was, he saw the Dragons coming which was AFTER the Lick King (Arthas) had fled the scene.

I'm doubting this "Bolfang" theory. I look to the Yogg fight for insight on this.During the Lich King vision, we have an image of this Immolated Champion being tortured.http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=33442#modelviewerNote, Bolvar's pants. It doesn't explain how the Lich King got Bolvar, only that he currently has him. The Dragons did fly away after toasting the ground, after all. Ample time for someone to run in and grab the bodies beforeBut, later on, we hear the Lich King mention "I will break you... as I broke... Him"An Orc death knight in battle-armor walks up and salutes. Sound like anyone we may know? Found out about this on a MMO champion thread, it's really quite interesting. I'll have to grab a screenshot of this myself. Maybe see if I can find out for certain who this orc is.

@lightning4Thank you for finally linking to that model. As a caster, I haven't been able to see the visions yet, outside of poorly made strat videos and listening to the sound files. I didn't even know about the orc death knight. Does anyone know the name of that NPC?

"There was a bug at some point which allowed players to read Draconic, and thus what Alexstrasza said at the Wrathgate."Oooh, I read about that bug when it happened, and I just thought it was kind of funny, but you know, it sure is convenient... what if Blizzard created that "bug" on purpose, to leak this speculation?Players were supposedly never intended to speak or understand Draconic at all, right? But note that Draconic isn't a real language: http://www.wowwiki.com/Draconic. (I don't know if any other languages in-game are really languages rather than substitution cyphers either, but that's not the point.) But if there were truly no intent to have people speak Draconic, they could just not create any translation in the game files for it. So the designers do intend for SOME players to read Draconic at SOME point... why? What else has gone on where it would be needed, other than this?

I present to you... Turned Champion.http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=33962#.http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=33962#modelviewerThe face is a match... not many other orc champions are known, let alone one looking like that.Seems like we have the answer on both of them. I guess Saurfang's will was a lot less strong than Bolvar's.I wouldn't rule the theory out quite yet though. Both Bolvar and Saurfang look rather... ghostly. But that could just be a side-effect of Yogg's vision. My question now is, what possible influence could Yogg have on the Lich King's torture and turning of Bolvar and Saurfang the Younger?
