World of WarCrafts: Who can resist a Murbean?
World of WarCrafts spotlights art and creativity by WoW players and fans, including fan art, cooking, comics, cosplay, music, fan fiction – and yes, (War)crafts. Share your stuff by tipping us off via our tips line (attention: World of WarCrafts).
World of WarCrafts has been gathering up tips and news on creative endeavors from players in all sorts of media. For a sun-drenched holiday weekend, though, we couldn't think of anything better than everyone's favorite: a Murbean. These cuties come courtesy of Amythys of Sisters of Elune.
"I've been making these little plush Murlocs for a while now (I call them Murbeans), mostly for my own amusement, but two have gone to friends as well," Amythys wrote. "Since I photographed them recently for my new guild's amusement, I wanted to share them here too."
One more shot of the little guys after the fold.
Great job on an irresistable trio, Amythys!
Check out another interpretation of Murloc plushies in our Claire's felt Murloc gallery.

Presumably the best part is that if if you just get one, it'll soon bring all of its friends along!

Exactly what I thought when I saw them, and the fact they are not "liscensed". they may be cute and all but putting something like this in a public forum will most likely get Amythys into more trouble than they bargained for.

I think the main reason that Blizzard is issuing C&Ds is because people are making profit honestly they can't tell you to stop something that isn't harming them. Unfortunately there is already a licensed murloc plushy on the market (talking no less) so they could conceivably say that someone distributing a patten to make a murloc plushy would cut into their profits.
But I know nothing about the law so this is all speculation.
P.S. SOOO Cute !!! :D I want one!

*note* I haven't actually sold any of the little guys. They've just been gifts for friends. I'm working on a Winterfin one right now, and a scourge Murloc. Theoretically also a pirate one for my guild leader. Now, if only I actually enjoyed sewing more... I have a large pile of cut out pieces for future Murbeans, and little plushie fish to go inside them (so they don't eat you in your sleep). Thank you very much for sharing my pictures though! I didn't even realize it until I saw the word "Murbean" in the recent "nominate a craft" post!
