Welcome back to The Queue, WoW Insider's daily Q&A column where the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.Todays edition of The Queue should be read while playing Boom Boom Pow in the background. It's completely irrelevant to WoW or anything discussed today, but I haven't been able to stop playing the song for about a week now and it's really starting to drive me crazy. If I can't stop listening to it, I'll just make other people listen to it. Schadenfreude is just as good as a cure.

Yep! The WoW community is pretty crazy about building up resources like these, so just check out either WarcraftMounts.com or WoWCollect.com, that's all you should need. If you want others, just hit Google. There are oodles of them.

"What ever happened to the Know Your Lore and Ask a Lore Nerd columns?"
Ask a Lore Nerd hasn't gone anywhere, it was just delayed a little because I had other big projects around the site that was pulling me away. That one will be back this week. I'm going to be trying to bring back Know Your Lore, and it actually should have been back already. The issue with that one is I always feel like I've run out of material, even if it's absolutely not the case. If there's something you really, really want to see in Know Your Lore when it returns, e-mail your suggestions to me at alex@wow.com and I'll add them to a list.

"Will we ever see Prot PVP gear for Paladins and Warriors (gear that has more than stam/resil - /glare at shields) or will we be forced to continue to wear our old raid gear gemmed and chanted with resil to be competitive?"
We haven't heard anything about this, but I can agree that I'd like to see it, too. I don't know how different it would be from the Ret gear for Paladins or the Arms/Fury gear for Warriors beyond glove bonuses, though. The tank-spec exclusive stats are probably things they would want to avoid stacking in PvP. You already get a lot of Strength to boost your Block Value, but adding even more via straight Block Val might not be such a great thing for PvP.
It's not like there's any other tank stat that's useful in PvP. Wearing the DPS gear might be for the best. Better shield itemization would be nice though, along with different glove bonuses perhaps. Otherwise? Eh.

Unless something changed recently (and I'm pretty sure it hasn't), no, Anzu won't spawn unless you have a Druid with the proper summoning item in your party. Sorry.

Every time a non-druid gets Anzu, a kitten dies.
I don't care about your petty arguments about who has more mounts, horde or alliance, or how hard it is to get Rivendare's mount or the Headless Horseman's.
Druids are Supreme.

Not necessarily true. The mount drop is there to give other players incentive to help their favorite Druid finish his Swift Flight chain. I know that if the mount had dropped when I got my Swift Flight, I would have passed on the roll as a thanks to the group that helped me out.
I hope they never change Anzu, he should always require an Essence Infused Moonstone to summon.

I listened to that song while reading, and I must say, it didn't really enhance my "The Queue" experience at all today : - (
Perhaps it's because I have always disliked the B.E.P
Any chance you will ask us to play a different song with tomorrows edition of "The Queue"?

lol @ the 100 mount achievement
Back when Blizzard first introduced the mount and pet tab, and you had to 'learn' your mounts, a guildie of mine had his bug out. He opened a ticket and Blizzard mailed his mounts to him, thus doubling the mounts going towards the count.
At level 73 he was able to get the 100 mount achievement, and yes we have the SS. It was really funny because he got out to Northrend, bought a couple mounts, got the achievement, then had to go back to Shattrath to mount the red dragonhawk because he was too low for cold weather flying.

I have a question:If I skin a mob and its body dissappears,will that make it respawn faster?
Another question:I have two mounts,my kodo and my hawkstrider on my actionbar,when I use a spell or anything a global cooldown only affects the hawkstrider and not the kodo.Any reason why?It lets me mount up a second faster which can be pretty crucial in pvp etc

I know the alliance horse is buggeed and wont get affected by GCD. The same obviously for some of the horde mounts.

I've seen this happen with some of my mounts as well.
IIRC my flying mount(s) were off GCD but my land mounts were on :s

Blizz has already said that they don't want to put tank stats on pvp gear. I think it was back in like s2 or 3. Something about how they don't want tanks just grabbing pvp gear because it would have higher stam and stuff than pve gear. The only thing that pvp gear provides a tank right now is scaling resilience with defense. I don't remember exactly what the equation is...but so much resi = a small amount of defense.

Regarding 100 mount acheivement - I was wondering if anyone knows of an addon / mod that can look at your current list of mounts and give you a list of all the ones that you are missing. Ideally, it could look at your rep and suggest ones that you are missing which you could buy right away.
This would also be great for pets. Have a look at all my pets and list out the ones that are missing, maybe grouped by questable, purchasable, AH / farm, rep grind. Basically, helping me spot missing pets.
