WRUP: It's WHAT o'clock? edition
Okay, readers. Your attention please. I have to finish this week's collection of responses to our regular question "What are you playing this weekend?" before I keel over and die from sleep deprivation. If this article is published, then I've made it, and I'm probably going to be asleep for several hours. If you're not reading this, I failed my mission and you may never know what our staff is up to over the weekend.
Did I make it? Let's find out!
Michael Gray: I am playing poker tonight, volleyball tomorrow during the day, hitting the Arena in the evening, then spending the day on Sunday at Virginia Renn Faire. I suspect I'll be wearing my utilikilt for the entire time. My only nod to appropriateness will be wearing boxers, no boxers -- pink boxers in honor of our boys at war.
Jennie Lees: it's the one week of the year the sun shines in Scotland, so I am raiding the "outside" instance. LF24M, no hunters.
Chase Christian: More smashing my head against Mimiron's metal frame, and taking my Warrior from 79 to 80 so I can roll on leather again!
More after the jump.
Robin Torres: Concentrating on my pally and druid while The Spousal Unit attends BotCon. Nerd.
Lesley Smith: This weekend I'm going to be looking after Mama Isis, my AWOL kitten now returned home, and slowly reintroducing her to her daughter Ceridwen. I'll also be playing City of Heroes and fantasising about Aion.
Allison Robert: Hardcore farming for a Turtle mount. That's right, fish; I'm coming for you! Albeit indirectly.
Christian Belt: Moving! Into a house! Finally, I will have my own room, where I can proudly display all the trappings of my nerdly heritage. Replica Frostmourne...Persona 2 shotglass...Dragon Quest slime controller...Dungeonmaster's Guide...17-system-selector for my TV...and now my wife tells me that extra room is going to be a guest room. I'm going to have to keep all my crap concealed in rubbermaid in a closet somewhere again. Seriously, nerds should never get married.
Alex Ziebart: The other night, Turpen did Deadmines. This weekend... Wailing Caverns? Blackfathom? Who knows! Also, more Ulduar. We've got our eyes set on Yogg-Saron.
Eliah Hecht: Ulduar (working on Freya), and leveling my Rogue some more. Mutilate is my new best friend.
Adam Holisky: Killing.
Matt "Matticus" Low: Mess around on my newly crowned 80 Ret Paladin. Possibly beat my head against the wall that is Iron Council hard mode.
Matthew Rossi: My internet is dying a lot today so if that keeps up, probably not playing much of anything.
Amanda Miller: I'm going to be running around Kalimdor doing old quests. I'm nowhere near the Loremaster achievements, but I have to start somewhere, right? Sunday will be another attempt at Mimiron, and I know we'll get him this time.
Nick Whelan: **NERD ALERT** I'll be acting as the Dungeon Master for a bunch of first-time D&D players as they role play their way through their first seedy tavern, and the simple quests that arise for them! **NERD ALERT**
Zach Yonzon: Arenas, arenas, arenas. Taking out all the frustration that writhing, tentacled mass of Old God heaped upon us on other players. It's kind of like paying to whack a baseball bat at a junkyard car.
Elizabeth Wachowski: I'm working nights all weekend, so I'll be playing FFCC: Echoes of Time on my DS.
Michael Sacco: Falling asle

Sleep well Michael.

Enjoy your sleep. It's about 20C here start of summer and I've spent all morning inside playing Guitar Hero Metallica
oops :P at least my Wii is enjoying the attention, it's felt shunned for my laptop since I started playing WoW a couple of months ago.

Tonight I'm going to see Cirque de Soleil's new show, Alegria (can't wait!). Tomorrow I think I'm hanging out with a friend. In between I think I might return to my main (been leveling an alt) and do some Wintergrasp and dailies...maybe even the Argent Tournamet dailies I've been avoiding.

Ehh it's already Sunday where I am so my weekend is already half over. I hope to squeeze in a few felwood/winterspring quests on my 55 hunter alt tomorrow. I want to hit 58 soon so I can drop all quests and head to the Outlands.

Nerds should too get married...they just have to marry other nerds. Nerds that will encourage the display of geekery in the guest room and the wearing of Utili-kilts. (P.S. Utilikilts = yummy!!!)

First the trick is indeed to marry another nerd. Then your geekery is not relegated to a single room but is, as it is in our house, spread from the living room to the kitchen and through all of the bedrooms.
Second, Michael. If you live in MD and are going to the VA Renn Fair tomorrow, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend staying off the WW bridge. Took us over an hour to cross the bridge. However, the fair was fun and the food was good so it was worth it. But man I hate that damn bridge.

@Christian Belt: My wife and I proudly have a Tantive IV from Star Wars displayed in the living room. Of course, we met on Star Wars MUD (text based MMO-type thing), so that helps.
