A point for posters: "identity theft" as a crime usually refers to getting info on someone and then using their credit cards, or taking out a loan in their name & using their home as collateral, etc etc. Or there was that episode of Friends when Pheobe's twin sister was making p**n in Pheobe's name.So while Ferraro/the Ferraros hasn't/haven't behaved particularly well (or even explicably), there's no need to get hyperbolic about things.
