The fact of the matter is, people are making a bigger deal out of this than it already is.Watch this video and be enlightened.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nll8-kSlq6c

And those with their heads on the chopping block are downplaying the hell out of it.

What is so utterly vital about this thing that this demands our attention more than it really should when we have bigger problems, such as a bad economy, high unemployment rate, sagging public health, and so on?That's right, there's nothing.

It's not for you to determine what anyone else is fascinated with. You could make the same argument about playing WoW or reading wow.com--How do you sit there and play a stupid game when the world is falling apart around us? Recessions, wars, widespread poverty and starvation in third world countries?Your presence on this website negates your argument. We all need menial things to occupy our time, or we'd all be chronically depressed at the abysmal state of the world. So we occupy ourselves with trivialities like games, TV, hobbies, and gossip, and we go on with our lives, trying to make the best out of our own little world. You do it. I do it. Everyone reading this comment is doing it.So, given that you're doing the same thing the rest of us are, who are you to judge us for paying attention to something you've deemed too small? I could probably turn every word around on you, except about your favorite TV show or your pet... I dunno... gerbil. /shrug.Point is, let people waste their time however they like; you've got no room to criticize.

@AyaJulia True as that may be, the fact still remains that people have been overstating this event. Then, I get a reply saying that my position on this is faulty because they're overreacting that a person was not whom they thought it was.Fine, you can keep crying, rampaging, or whatever over how utterly horrible, terrible, and world ruining this thing is. I'll be over there.Good day.

I don't think anyone is making this out to be as serious as more widespread problems that threaten lives and livelihoods. :) Just a lot of opinions and counter-opinions being fired across the bow.... And make no mistake, there probably ARE people whose asses are on the line... namely, any number of people who may or may not have called themselves Ferarro, stolen photos, and/or potentially violated their NDAs. But that's where the gravity of all this ends. :)Speaking only for myself, I'm simply amused as hell at the whole thing. No one on this site ever seemed to like Ferarro; "her" comments were often rated down pretty heavily, from what I can remember or the general trend. Now I've got something to chuckle about for a day or so. I think I'm more involved in defending the people writing about it (see my comment toward you and an earlier one about wow.com not being a news site) than the actual situation.
