Yeah totally creepy...which is why one should never threaten, or attempt to threaten anyone on the internet...you'll be caught. Lying on the other hand is pretty standard."We've investigated, and have determined based on IP address records of comments left by Ferarro on WoW.com between July of 2008 and May of 2009 that the comments all came from the same small subnet of IPs, and are all geographically very local to one another."Don't get me wrong, I like this website alot and have found a lot of useful info, etc. BUT if WI decides to say anything more specific about the IP addresses than the above then they are gone from my life permanently. Despite the weirdness of this whole situation, privacy is STILL the top concern. Using data that is private to "out" someone is just not cool (and who knows, may be illegal, but I'm no lawyer.)
